Join
us for our 2nd annual Methodist
Family Feud. The first edition of the Family
Feud matched a Bible team from our church
against teams from three area United Methodist
Churches, with
the beneficiary being Cameroon Missions.
In this photo Susan Adair rings the bell to
answer one of the questions. Look for details of
the Family Feud soon.
Through frequent, widely varied Mission activities
at First United Methodist Church of DeSoto we:
- recognize and address the needs of those less fortunate in our area;
- joyfully accept our responsibility to 'show that we are Christians by our Love';
- find meaningful ways for people of different strengths, talents, resources, and energy levels to serve;
- appropriately accept our place in the world-wide church, sharing beyond our national borders;
- strengthen the bonds of friendship and mutual support through fun, fellowship, and food in the accomplishment of our Mission goals.
