Be Our Guest

We would like for you to be our guest. Here is what to expect on your first visit.

WHERE TO COME
Our church is a beautiful rolling campus of three buildings located in a neighborhood in DeSoto, Texas. The map shows that our church is located at the corner of Roaring Springs Drive and Reunion Drive. Driving down Belt Line Road in DeSoto, you will turn south on Roaring Springs Drive, which is located between the Westlake Plaza and East Junior High School. Take the residential street of Roaring Springs Drive south to our facilities. Sunday-morning visitors may park in the up-close “visitor parking” spaces, which are near the sanctuary up the hill. The Sanctuary, Education Building and Church Life Center make up the three-building complex.

WHEN TO COME
DURING THE WEEK: Some people first come to our church for one of the activities during the week, such as aerobics classes and Bible studies. On Wednesday evenings we offer children’s and youth activities and music/worship arts programs for all ages.

ON SUNDAY MORNINGS: Sunday School is at 9 a.m.  Our worship service is at 10:20 a.m. If you come to worship, you will find a friendly, caring congregation. Please enter through the doors on the parking-lot side of the sanctuary. Greeters will have worship bulletins on paper to give you. Please register your attendance as you enter the sanctuary building. Large-print bulletins and hymnals also are available in the narthex (entrance hall). It is a good idea to arrive a few minutes before the official start time. The bulletin explains the order of worship. We strive to make the bulletin as “visitor friendly” as possible.

Adults bringing young children will be pleased to know that we welcome children into our worship services. If you wish to take your young child (birth through age 3 years) to the nursery, you will find a well-staffed, nursery in the sanctuary end of the Educational Building.
